John A. Rutherford family photographs collection [graphic], circa 1910-1948.

Photographs documenting the family of John A. Rutherford of Ohio and Washington state, circa 1910-1948. Subjects include portraits of the Rutherford family, including John A. Rutherford, his wife Molly Maddocks Rutherford, and their sons, Harry, Archie, Lloyd, and Charlie Rutherford; the family's residences at Steam Corners and Galion, Ohio and the Rutherford creamery in Steam Corners; and John A. Rutherford's automobile trip from Galion, Ohio to Great Falls, Mont. and his work on ranches in Montana in the 1920s. There is also one photograph of the Triple XXX Root Beer drive-in in Renton, Wash., which was opened by Archie Rutherford in June 1930 and was the first drive-in restaurant in the Pacific Northwest. Includes one magazine article containing biographical information about John A. Rutherford.
